Peter Wick

Peter Wick manages 2Xideas’ Asian operations and is a founding Partner of 2Xideas. In 2002, Peter established CDL Principal Investors AG, an investment firm serving owner-investors including ultra-high net worth individuals, families, foundations, and investment companies. Previously, Peter worked at BZ Bank, Schweizerischer Bankverein (now UBS) and Darier Hentsch & Cie (now Lombard Odier).

Peter holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master’s degree in Law (licence en droit) from Geneva University. He practiced law in New York City and Geneva until 1986, and is admitted to the New York and Geneva state bars.

Steve Zhou

Yang (Steve) Zhou joined 2Xideas as an Equity Analyst in October 2021. From 2018 to 2021, Steve worked as a Senior Analyst at JK Capital Management in Hong Kong, focusing on China’s consumer and property sectors. From 2015 to 2017, he served as an Assistant Vice President at Khazanah Nasional in Beijing, a Malaysian sovereign wealth fund, covering China consumer, property, and materials. Steve also worked on the sell side in Shanghai covering China consumer stocks from 2011 to 2015.

Steve holds a BS in Finance from New York University Stern School of Business. He is a CFA® charterholder.

Kate Chen

Jiaqi (Kate) Chen joined 2Xideas as an Equity Analyst in August 2021. From 2015 to 2021, she worked as a private equity investment professional with Jeneration Capital focused on China TMT and consumers. Kate started her career in Investment Banking with CIMB Group in Hong Kong.

Kate holds a BSc (Hons) in Quantitative Finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
